Today, organizations have more data then they know what to do with. Education Chat provides support in analyzing and visualizing data in a way that makes the data actionable. We also provide a report outlining the potential strengthens and weaknesses, suggested actions based on the data, and additional questions the data present.
Education Chat uses a combination of Cross Industry Standard Process (CRISP) and the Scientific Method for our Data Mining Model.
School Level:
For example, below is the visualization of the number of students tardy by Block within a school. By viewing the data in this format, schools can easily see Block 1 has more students tardy during spring semester, than any other time.
National or State Level:
If you are interested in a state or national score analysis, we can visualize that data as well. The map below is of the Commonwealth of Virginia divided into counties. The numbers represent the 2015-2016 Mathematics Standards of Learning scores for each school district and the size of the number indicates whether the standard deviation of the scores over a three year period is high (large number) or low (small number). The standard deviation tells you whether the school district scores are consistent.
When you click on the number, additional information appears to give your organization insight into the mathematics performance of the school district.
