Curriculum

The goal of Mathematics for Deeper Understanding Curriculum is to build a foundation for advanced mathematical thinking. Your child will explore numbers is a variety of ways to develop a conceptual understanding of how numbers can be build and taken apart. All mathematics curriculum developed by Education Chat is designed to support the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Process Standards: Problem Solving, Reasoning and Proof, Communication, Connections, and Representations. The Process Standards represents the best current understanding of mathematics teaching and learning and contextual factors that shape the content.  

Curriculum Development Process
